There were no discounts offered with these. It was too easy for a Railroad clerk to rip a TEN Pack open, sell the tokens at full fare and pocket the difference.

After almost 50 years (1953 to 2003) the sale of tokens was discontinued at midnight on April 13, 2003. The tokens still accepted with 50¢ on buses until the end of 2003.
