The full R188 order of 506 cars has been completed, with all
cars assigned to Corona.
Since the June 12, 2016, car assignment, 30 R142A’s
previously assigned to Pelham
have been converted for Flushing Line service with the R188 contract and three
new R188’s have been accepted at Corona.
As such, the total fleet size increases by three cars, to 2,895 cars.
