#1414 15 bench open car |

One of a small number of private parlor
cars operated by local transit companies. It is equipped with a kitchen and
toilet facilities. It supposedly made a trip under its own power to NY City.
|
|
ConnCo #775. Typical car operated
throughout Connecticut. It spent its last days in New Haven and operated over
ConnCo tracks to the museum when the Branford line was taken over by the
museum. |
|
Car #1911, just out of restoration in
1972. It had large windows that could almost roll up into the roof for a breezy
ride. It was considered an interurban, as it operated between cities. |
